PPNT-00 Low-frequency transceiver PNPT-00 receives and recognizes commands at frequency of 22 Hz. This signal can go inside closed metal or concrete casings (i.e. inside a closed launching or receiving chamber for example). The tranceiver is mounted on in-line PIGs (for pipelines cleaning and inspections) for pipes with diameter 200-1600mm (8-60 inches). It is powered by 4 batteries LR20 (D) or 2 batteries DD. The transceiver length is 330 mm, diameter is 94 mm. It has ingress protection IP68 at pressure of 12 MPa. While moving through a pipeline the transceiver works similarly to the standard low-frequency transmitter PNT-00. Device for Visualisation of Temperature and Pressure in a Pipeline

RDT-00 Data logger RDT-00 is designed for installation in a cleaning PIG to register and then visualize and analyse temperature and pressure distribution along a pipeline. Additionally, while moving in the PIG through the pipeline, RTD-00 detects accelerations and impacts, as well as the differential pressure on the PIG. Data logger length is 130 mm while diameter is 94 mm. It is powered by 1 lithium battery LR20 (D), 3.7 V with the battery life of up to 600 hours. Operating pressure is up to 30 MPa. Temperature range -40C....+80C. Data loggers RDT-00 are certified and have Ex mark 0ExmaiaIIBT5 Ga. The device comes with a program for visualization of the graphs with recorded pressures, temperatures and accelerations. To transfer data to a PC a USB-cable is used. A user can select the frequency of the pipeline's data record in the very wide range: from 100 times per second (100 Hz) to 1 time per 30 seconds (0.033 Hz). Low-frequency Locators and Receivers

NPR-00 Universal locator (receiver) NPR-00 was designed for search and tracking of different in-line PIGs equiped either by with low-frequency transmitter or by magnet. NPR-00 records signals on the frequency 22 Hz from transmitters, as well as changes in the magnetic field near the pipeline. The device has a built-in high-sensitivity antenna, automatically adjustable brightness of LED indicators, a function of remote control via infrared port for PNT transmitters as well as build-in speaker. NPR-00 has very easy operation via 2 buttons on the front panel. It can automatically register and signalize by LED flashes up to 5 passages of a PIG. The device has enclosure protection IP67. Ex mark according to the certification documents is 1ExibIIBT3 X. The battery life is not less than 240 hours. It is powered by 4 alkaline batteries LR6 (AA) or by rechargeable accumulators with a nominal voltage 1.2 ... 1.5 V. Weight with batteries is 3.5 kg. Universal locator NPR-00
NPR-01 Low-frequency receiver-recorder (locator) NPR-01 for PIGs search and tracking, as well as for pipeline benchmarking during inspections via technology of marker points. Automatically recognized signals about PIG passage are recorded in the device's memory and later can be downloaded to a computer to analyze graphs of the signals and figure out exact time of inspection PIG passage. NPR-01 can be record signals in 22 Hz channel and in magnetic channel. Receiver NPR-01 is equipped with a jack for external antenna or external headphones connection. There is an automatic regulation of the brightness of the LEDs. Enclosure protection is IP67. According to certification documents NPR-01 has Ex mark 1ExibIIBT3 X. The battery life is not less than 240 hours. It is powered by 4 alcaline batteries or rechargeable acumulators LR6 (AA). Operation is possible both with built-in antenna and with external antenna. Length of cable for external antenna can be up to 200 m. The protection housing of remote antenna is IP68 at pressures up to 50 BAR. And it can be used in sea water. When cable length is 30 m or more we propose a bollard for storage of the cable and its fast reeling during inspection of an underwater pipeline by a diver (or ROV) holding the external antenna of NPR-01.

NPR-03 Universal reeiver (locator) NPR-03 was designed for search and tracking of cleaning and inspection PIGs in underwater pipelines. Rugged design of NPR-03 allows its use by a ROV at depths of up to 3000 m at external pressure of up to 30 MPa. NPR-03 can be installed in a point on an underwater pipeline for up to 5-6 months. The device is powered by 4 batteries LR20 (D) or two lithium batteries DD. Its battery life is up to 3800 hours. Weight with the batteries is 10 kg. NPR-03 can be equipped with lateral floats to give neutral buoyancy. In this case it can be used by a diver for searching of the place in the underwater pipeline at depths of 5 - 50 m where a PIG has stuck. For deeper places a ROV with NPR-03 ought to be used. NPR-04 (RPS-00) Non-intrusive (contactless) detector NPR-04 (RPS-00) is under development. This device is intended to be mounted on the outer surface of a pipeline with clamps without damaging the insulation. It is designed for installation on a pipes with diameter from 100 to 1420mm. The device will register and record the passage of a PIG with low-frequency transmitter or with a magnet which cases small distortion of Earth's natural magnetic field in the vicinity of the pipeline. For installation on burried underground pipelines is planned to equip NPR-04 with sealed extension cord. The device will be powered by alkaline or lithium batteries LR20 (D). The projected battery life is 6 months. NPR-04 will provide the signal into the telemetry network (SCADA) for which an interface agreement will be required. Also it will record the signal into internal memory. Possible development of signal output function into GSM network via SMS messages. Sound Locators

LKA-00 Acoustic locator LKA-00 is designed for tracking by sounds of PIGs moving inside a pipeline. The locator is equipped by external microphone (geophone) which is put on the ground directly above buried pipeline or attached with use of build-in magnet on the opened metallic part of this pipeline. Cable with length 7m (up to 50m by request) connecting to the geophone as well as high quality earphones with 1.5 m cabel are the parts of LKA-00 delivery set. The device has three working (listening) frequency ranges and automatically adjustable brightness of LED indicators. Detection distance is up to 1.5 ... 2 km. Time of autonomous work is 240 hours. In-line PIGs

Cleaning PIGs

USO

USO PIGs are used for cleaning of pipelines from the various deposits. Also they are suitable for separation of dissimilar fluids or for dewatering during hydrostatic testing. Each USO PIG has 4 cleaning (sealing) polyurethane discs with hardness 75 units by Shore A scale, and 2 supporting (guiding) poliurethane disks with hardness 85 units by Shore A scale. The body of the PIG is usually made of rigid polyurethane for diameters from 75 mm to 620 mm (or 3" to 24"). For pipeline diameters 530 mm to 1420 mm (or more than 20") the PIG body is metal welded construction (a shell with flanges). And it is usually equipped with front and rear bumpers (protective baskets). USO PIGs are designed to negotiate: narrowing of the pipeline up to 85% of the nominal diameter D, steep bends with the radius R = 1,5xD, equal diameter tees without grid. All USO have a cavity for the low-frequency transmitter. The PIGs are designed so as to have the lowest possible weight to reduce wear of polyurethane discs, as well as to facilitate handling and launching works. USO can be additionally equipped by metal brushes for cleaning of hard deposits and by magnets to clean up metallic waste from the pipeline.


Caliper PIGs

Caliper PIGs of SKT line are usually used to determine maximum constriction of a pipeline before cleaning and inspections in this pipeline. An SKT PIG typically has 4 cleaning polyurethane discs with hardness 75 units of Shore A scale and 2 metallic slotted gauging disks with diameter 85% and 70% from outer pipeline diameter Dout. Presence of permanent deformations of the gauging discs provide information about the restrictions in the pipeline which can interfere with the cleaning or inspection PIG. All SKT PIGs are designed to pass: 65% narrowing of Dout, steep bends with radius R = 1.5 x Dout, equal diameter tees with bottom discharge arrangement without grid, jutting plungers, and wedge gate valves. The body of SKT PIG can be made from strong polyurethane tightened by metallic pins. For pipelines with diameter exceeding 500 mm (20") the PIG body typically has a metal welded structure (a shell with flanges and protective baskets). SKT PIG can also be used for pre-cleaning of a pipeline which has significant unremovable narrowings. For such purpose the metallic gauging discs can be disassembled from the PIG. There are also modifications of shortened SKT PIGs which were designed for launching and receiving through the three-way ball valves. Any SKT PIG has a seat (cavity) for the low-frequency transmitter.     ,               .

PIGs for dual-diameter (telescopic) pipelines

SKT pigs for telescopic (dual-diameter) pipelines have two sets of cleaning elements made of polyurethane with hardness 75 units of Shore A scale. onventional cleaning discs designed for cleaning smaller diameter pipes. And bigger slotted discs assembled in pairs, are used for cleaning large diameter pipes. Telescopic SKT pigs are designed to pass through the restriction in the larger pipeline up to 65% of Dout1 and steep bends with radius R1 = 1,5xDout1. In the sections of the pipeline with the smaller diameter, they can pass restrictions to 85% of Dout2 and bends with radius R2 = 3xDout2. Also dual-diameter SKT pigs can go through equal-diameter tees with bottom discharge arrangement, plungers, and wedge gate valves. Any telescopic SKT pig has the cavity for low frequency transmitter installation.


Solid-casted polyurethane PIGs

All-polyurethane, maintenance free pipeline PIGs SKT are used for cleaning pipes of small diameter. These PIGs are made of high-quality polyurethane, which ensures their high resistance to abrasion. The hardness can be selected to be 75, 80 or 85 units of Shore A scale (soft, medium or rigid, respectively). By default the PIGs are manufactured with hardness 80 units of Shore A. Solid-casted SKT PIGs are designed to pass through the restriction to 70% of Dout and bends with radius R = 1,5xDout. Length of the PIGs with 4 cleaning elements (SKT-3D1M and SKT-4D) is typically chosen such that they can be launched and recieved through three-way ball valves. Any solid-casted PIGs (except 3D1M-SKT-89) has a cavity for the installation of low-frequency transmitter PNT of appropriate size. Form-measuring PIGs of second generation

PVM-06 Form-measuring smart PIGs of PVM line are developed for geometry inspections of pipelines with diameter 6" to 56" (159 to 1420 mm). They can run in pipelines with oil, oil products, water, air or natural gas. The PIGs can negotiate the following restrictions in the pipelines with outer diameter D: narrowings 70%D, minimum radius of pipe bend R= 1.5D. Autonomous work time for inspection PIG 6" is not less than 150 hours. Surveyed distance can be up to 300 km. Working pressure 0.5...12MPa (up to 20 MPa is possible for special applications). Velocity of the pumped product (liquid or gas) can be from 0.1 to 10 m/s. However velocity of the inspection PIG motion is limited to 5 m/s for 100% accurate information record. Accuracy of distance determination is 1% from passed distance. If a system of marker points (pipeline benchmarking technology) is used and also information about welds is available then distance accuracy is 0.25m. The accuracy of determining the restrictions is 0.05% of the pipeline diameter. The PIG speed is monitored by two independent odometers. Any PVM PIG is equipped by low frequency transmitter. A modification of PVM PIG equipped by "Active Cuffs" in the towing section can move more smoothly in gaseous medium (compressed air of gas) even through a gas pipeline with pressure less than 20 BAR. Special measures are also taken to reduce levers (arms) bounce at restrictions when PIG speed exceeds 5 m/s. There is modification of PVM PIG with 16 levers for 6" pipeline. Test stands with transparent pipes

Pigging Stands with transparent pipes are used for training and research purposes. The aim is to see how different utility and smart PIGs pass standard or non-standard narrowing in pipelines.

The stand is a modular structure which can be assembled indoors or outdoors. Transparent pipes are supported by a frame made of steel profiles. The following narrowings can be modeled in the stand: bends, T-joints, not completely opened ball-valves, taps, dents, corrugated wall and so on.

Elements of the stand are made of transparent plastic pipes with diameter from 100 to 200mm. The stand can be supplied with standard launching and receiving chambers. Circulating liquid is water. Maximum pressure is 3 bars. Pump is supplied with the stand.
